The popularity of this style of needlework has had a fairly healthy
life as it was easily accomplished by both men and women as well as

items that could be “made-up into a suitable gift”. From key baskets, to watch pockets, album covers, court plaster cases, picture frames thermometer stands and catch all baskets to name but a few.
