STEP 7: Finishing
Making a Scissors Keep from Confection style Tokens and Trifles™ sewing cards
To use the Confection style Tokens and Trifles™ sewing cards to make a scissors keep, first cut triangular pieces of decorative paper to fit within the perforated area of the sewing card. Lightly glue to wrong sides of the stitched pieces without blocking the lacing holes.
Place stitched cards together with wrong sides together.
Cut two 24” lengths of ribbon. 4 mm or 7 mm works best. Referring to lacing instructions, lace together one long side of case with one length of ribbon, leaving a 6” tail at starting point. Repeat for remaining length of ribbon. When beginning point is reached, trim tails to even lengths and tie in a bow.
